Indonesian integrated media company PT MNC (Media Nusantara Citra) and Chinese wireless media supplier Linktone have reached a definitive agreement for MNC to acquire at least 51% stake in Linktone, according to a press release by Linktone dated November 28.

According to the press release, the transaction is scheduled to conclude in the first quarter of 2008. MNC plans to fund the transaction by means of cash reserves.
